Dear Division 46 Members,

With this last submission to the Amplifier as your Past-President, I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge you all, particularly the working Board, for the many contributions you are making to the powerful use of the media and technology in the field of psychology.  During my term, I have been increasingly impressed with the breadth of knowledge and commitment of so many of our members.  Now, with our new official name of the Society for Media Psychology and Technology, we are able to demonstrate clearly the wide range of possibilities and contributions that can be made to APA and to the public at large.  I am proud to have been instrumental in bringing about that name change for future generations of media psychologists.

I know that under the capable leadership of our current and in-coming officers, the projects begun under my presidency will continue to grow and succeed.  The Media Ethics Casebook, in particular, is something that will greatly benefit our Division, APA, and a wide range of psychologists.  I will continue to participate in following through on this important endeavor in whatever way I can.

It has been a pleasure and an honor being a part of the Executive Trio and Quartet and our distinguished Board.  My best wishes to you all for your future success in the field of media psychology and technology.
