Helen Friedman, PhD is the new president of the St. Louis Psychological Association. She also serves as media chair. Dr. Friedman continues to make appearances on television, radio, and in print. A recent example is In addition to her private practice, she is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Community and Family Medicine, St. Louis University School of Medicine.

Congratulations to Dr. Ilene Serlin for receiving the California Psychological Association’s 2019 Distinguished Humanitarian Contribution award. This award honors a person whose volunteer and career efforts have directly and significantly improved the quality of life for a broad range and large number of persons in our society.
