Our Division 46 student committee is entering APA 2024 with a fresh look! With Stephanie Miodus and Stephanie Joseph having graduated with their PhDs, I am honored to transition from my previous role as media chair to student committee chair. We also welcome Ashley Vargas as our new membership chair. Joanna Moskalis continues as our mentoring chair, with exciting updates on the grad stepping program coming this summer.

We are thrilled to introduce several new initiatives. This summer, we aim to launch our podcast and establish a TikTok presence for the division. Additionally, we are discussing the creation of a “media and psychology” certificate program. The most exciting news comes from our Division President Dr. Grant Rich and Treasurer Dr. Violet Cheung, who have facilitated complimentary student memberships for Division 46. That means students can now use code D46FreeStudentMembership to join our Division at no cost! We thank APA, Dr. Rich, and Dr. Cheung for making this possible!
